Chiropractic is a safe, gentle, and completely natural approach that not only improves the health of your children but improves their overall function as they grow. Chiropractic shortly after birth has demonstrated positive effects in infants experiencing difficulties such as; trouble breastfeeding or latching, colic, reflux, chronic ear infections, allergies, asthma, ADD, chronic bed wetting, digestive issues, and constipation. NO twisting, cracking, or popping will be involved with your child’s adjustment! Our technique used on both infants and children is soft, gentle, and effective.

During a specific adjustment, your spine undergoes quick, gentle stretching of the spinal joint, and you may hear a noise. This is caused by small pockets of air being released from the fluid that surrounds your joints. When joint tissues are stretched during a chiropractic adjustment, the pockets of air “pop,” which creates that sound you hear. Sometimes you may not hear a noise, but that just means there were no pockets of air around the joints and it does not indicate the effectiveness of an adjustment.

Throughout the day, your body will be processing your adjustment. Most patients feel very relaxed initially and may even need to take a nap, while some feel a surge of energy, and others don’t feel an immediate change. Some patients experience some soreness after their adjustment, but this is all part of the healing process. Make sure to drink plenty of water to help your body flush out the toxins being released by your body. This will help to facilitate the recovery process.
